Where do the answers of the AI Service Engineer come from?

Section titled “Where do the answers of the AI Service Engineer come from?”

Only from your organisation: the technical sources you uploaded, the knowledge items built from them and confirmed by your experts, and the service cases your team closed. ServLore does not search the internet. Every statement of an answer names its evidence, and when the evidence is not enough the answer says Insufficient evidence instead of guessing.

What happens to knowledge the AI extracts?

Section titled “What happens to knowledge the AI extracts?”

It starts as AI extracted and is never presented as an instruction. An expert confirms it or a knowledge manager approves it before technicians may rely on it; until then answers that use it are marked as informational guidance. See Verify knowledge.

The interface is available in 17 languages: German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese. Technicians may ask in any of them and get the answer in their own language, even when the manuals are written in another one. Every member chooses a language under Your account.

Does it work on a phone and without a connection?

Section titled “Does it work on a phone and without a connection?”

Yes. ServLore runs in the phone’s browser and can be added to the home screen like an app. Without a connection, pages show what was loaded on the last visit, and new questions, case notes and capture answers are kept on the device and sent when the connection returns. A Pending sync label shows what is still waiting to be sent.

Only the members of your organisation, each according to their role. External service partners see only the machine models and customers you chose for them, and never sources or knowledge marked internal. Every change is recorded in the audit log.

Yes. An organisation administrator can export the organisation’s data at any time; see Audit and governance.

What if a technician thinks an answer is dangerous?

Section titled “What if a technician thinks an answer is dangerous?”

Rate it Unsafe. The rating opens a safety incident for the knowledge team, and every later answer in the same conversation goes to an expert before the technician sees it. See Rate an answer.

The films are recorded with Demo Pumpen GmbH, a fictitious German pump manufacturer. Its manuals and case notes are German while the interface speaks the language of this handbook, which is how many service teams work: documents in the manufacturer’s language, questions and answers in the technician’s.
